What's Roda?
The Roda Group, recognized as a competitive reference group by the Xunta de Galicia, is made up of 35 people from applied didactics in the areas of Didactics of Experimental Sciences, Social Sciences, Languages and Literatures and Mathematics. The common field of research focuses on the development of skills (scientific, linguistic, mathematical, social). Its objective is to promote an integrated (interdisciplinary) education that develops the necessary skills for citizens of a society in continuous transformation, as well as an academic specialization at an early age.
Didactic Areas
Investigate pole processes that the students participate in and transfer to the scientific practices of production, assessment and communication of coñecemento in various contexts and educational levels.

Identity construction processes, contribute to the development of the specific ability to interpret and give new meanings to reality.
literature
Research on linguistic competences, in a framework of coexistence with official languages understood as an opportunity to achieve a real multilingualism.
Investigate skills for mathematical modeling, development of cognitive and metacognitive arguments to develop proofs and refutation of mathematical techniques and technologies.
