On June 14, a seminar will be held at the Faculty of Education (North Campus), from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm, on historical education in secondary and high school.
Cosme Gómez Carrasco will present specific data from a study that empirically verifies the extent to which results improve among secondary school students when certain learning strategies are introduced in the classroom to develop competencies. It was carried out in several groups with 200 students. The results provide evidence on the effectiveness of certain resources and ways of organizing teaching. The study focuses on historical education, although it may also be useful for other fields of knowledge in these times when changes in our educational system are being discussed and implemented.
Admission is open to interested secondary, high school and university teachers in training or in practice.
