Last Thursday and Friday, September 29th and 30th, five of our RODA members had the pleasure of taking part in the 3rd Red-14 Scientific Meeting and Doctoral School in Madrid. Both the doctoral students, Julia Feijóo Outumuro, Manuel Barreiro Mariño and Mar Bóveda López, and their thesis supervisors, Belén Castro Fernández and Ramón López Facal, have actively participated in this meeting, having shared their research with other colleagues from other universities in Spain, while the PIs have met to see how to move forward with Red-14. All the doctoral students have been able to enjoy several presentations that will help them in the preparation of their doctoral theses, with Ramón Facal being the first to start this meeting.
This meeting has served, above all, for the productive exchange of ideas among the doctoral students and the creation of contacts with people from other universities in Spain, this being a positive point in the ongoing research.
Next year it is time to repeat this unforgettable and enriching experience in Barcelona!
