The open book : «Design Based Pedagogy Book. Design Based Pedagogical Content Knowledge Across Teacher Education Programs « is available, developed within the framework of an European Erasmus project+“ Progression and Pedagogy of Design: Contextualizing Design based Pedagogy in Teacher Education Programs (P2D) ”, in which the Didactics area of RODA Sciences colaborates.
The authors present, in Chapter 4 of this book, some keys to designing STEM tasks in which critical thinking is integrated. Teachers interested in fostering critical thinking in their classrooms through STEM activities can access STEM designs in this chapter aimed at the elaboration of prototypes / artifacts by students. The designs require mobilizing critical thinking skills and scientific practices from the students.
